Last May I
participated in a very nice challenge (DESAFÍO CUPCAKE, which sadly is now
suspended) and the best part of that was that I won an amazing price: Les
Petits Macarons book. The theme for the month of May was Paris, and as I really
like the city I felt inspired and gave it a try.
My idea was
to show a very small part of the Paris metro on a map in which the stations
were represented with cupcakes. I chose the segment of the line 6 that goes
from Bir Hakeim to Passy because from there you can have one of the nicest
views from the metro (you can see the Seine and the Eiffel tower!).I also
included Trocadero because from there you can have one of the most typical
views of the Eiffel tower.
They were
coffee flavored cupcakes because I believed that was very parisian, and they
were covered with colored butter cream according to the colors of the metro
lines that appear on the map.
