Desafío Cupcake

Last May I participated in a very nice challenge (DESAFÍO CUPCAKE, which sadly is now suspended) and the best part of that was that I won an amazing price: Les Petits Macarons book. The theme for the month of May was Paris, and as I really like the city I felt inspired and gave it a try.

My idea was to show a very small part of the Paris metro on a map in which the stations were represented with cupcakes. I chose the segment of the line 6 that goes from Bir Hakeim to Passy because from there you can have one of the nicest views from the metro (you can see the Seine and the Eiffel tower!).I also included Trocadero because from there you can have one of the most typical views of the Eiffel tower.

They were coffee flavored cupcakes because I believed that was very parisian, and they were covered with colored butter cream according to the colors of the metro lines that appear on the map.

En mayo pasado participé en un desafío muy lindo (DESAFÍO CUPCAKE, que tristemente ya se ha suspendido) y la mejor parte fue que gané un premio asombroso: el libro Les Petits Macarons. El tema para el mes de mayo era París, y como realmente me gusta la ciudad me sentí inspirada y lo intenté.

Mi idea era mostrar una muy pequeña parte del metro de París en un mapa en el cual las estaciones estuvieran representadas con cupcakes. Elegí el segmento de la línea 6 que va de Bir Hakeim a Passy, en él puedes tener una de las mejores vistas desde el metro (puedes ver el Sena y la torre Eiffel). También incluí Trocadero porque desde ahí se puede tener una de las vistas más típicas de la torre Eiffel.

El sabor de los cupcakes era café porque me pareció muy parisino y estaban cubiertos con butter cream coloreada de acuerdo a los colores de las líneas de metro que aparecían en el mapa.
